The Royal Family
The Royalty rotates among the seven communities that make up Rumuokwurusi - the descendants of the first son of Esara. The reigning king in Oro-Esara is His Majesty Eze Sir (Hon.) Sidney O. Worlu, JP. He is from Rumuorianwo community. He is married to lady Dorothy N. Worlu and they are blessed with nine children; 7 females and two sons. Some of his children are located in Britain, Asia while others are in Nigeria.
His Majesty, Eze Sir (Hon.) S.O. Worlu, JP was a Second Republic Legislator. He worked briefly in Industry and Government. He was once the President of Rotary Club of Port Harcourt South. He was once chairman of a branch of Ogbakor Ikwerre, a socio-cultural organization of the Ikwerre tribe.
He is a Knight of St. Christopher of the Anglican Communion. The king has three thriving companies; namely Link Integrated Agencies Ltd, Primus Nigeria Ltd and Meridian Hotels Ltd.
